The Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons basketball squad (Parkersburg, IA), was nudged 70-64 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks (Waverly, IA)

With the victory, Waverly-Shell Rock advances its record to 17-5 on the year. The Go-Hawks host Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA) to meet the Spartans in a non-league battle on Saturday, February 15. The Spartans enter the battle with a record of 19-0.

The Falcons now own a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hampton-Dumont for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 13.
