Iowa High School Basketball - Assumption holds off Davenport North

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Assumption Knights basketball team scored a close 66-65 triumph over the Davenport North Wildcats.
The Knights (12-8) will now prepare for their contest against Clinton (Clinton, IA). The River Kings go into the Mississippi contest with a 0-19 record. In their last contest, Clinton was tipped by Maquoketa (Maquoketa, IA), 68-61, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Muscatine Muskies (Muscatine, IA) in a Mississippi contest, on Friday, February 14. Davenport North will attempt to better on its 12-7 season record. The Muskies go into the contest with a 14-3 record after their 81-66 league win over Clinton (Clinton, IA).
