In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Augusta Orioles basketball team scored a good 57-47 triumph over the Wellington Crusaders.
The Orioles (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Mulvane (Mulvane, KS). The Wildcats go into the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail III contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Mulvane was topped by Andale (Andale, KS), 61-33, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Crusaders confront the Collegiate Spartans (Wichita, KS) in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail IV contest, on Friday, February 14. Wellington will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 12-3 record after their 70-42 non-league win over Buhler (Buhler, KS).
