The Bridgewater/Emery Huskies (Emery, SD) basketball crushed the visiting Avon Pirates (Avon, SD), 61-37 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Huskies now possess a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to White River for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 15. Bridgewater/Emery will play a Tigers team coming off a 69-24 league loss to Wall (Wall, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 4-11.
With the loss, Avon falls to 1-15 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Tripp-Delmont/Armour (Armour, SD) to play the Nighthawks in a B Region 4 bout on Thursday, February 13. The Nighthawks go into the bout with a record of 8-7. Tripp-Delmont/Armour won 61-56 in their recent league bout against Irene/Wakonda (Irene, SD)
