In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host West Central Area Knights basketball team scored a good 72-60 triumph over the Barnesville Trojans.
The Knights (13-8) will now prepare for their contest against Wheaton (Wheaton, MN). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 16-3 record. In their last contest, Wheaton topped Ashby (Ashby, MN), 85-51, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans confront the Perham Yellowjackets (Perham, MN) in a AA Section 8 contest, on Friday, February 14. Barnesville will attempt to better on its 16-7 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the contest with a 13-7 record after their 71-64 non-league win over Frazee (Frazee, MN).
