Washington High School Basketball - Bellevue thwarts Mercer Island

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Bellevue Wolverines (Bellevue, WA) and the visiting Mercer Island Islanders (Mercer Island, WA), observed Bellevue's basketball team knock off Mercer Island by a score of 65-47.

In their next game, the Islanders battle the Inglemoor Vikings (Kenmore, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 13. Mercer Island will attempt to improve on its 12-11 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 13-9 record after their 58-54 non-league loss to Liberty (Issaquah, WA).
