The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Bellevue West Thunderbirds (Bellevue, NE) and the host Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks (Lincoln, NE), observed Bellevue West's basketball team knock off Lincoln Southwest by a score of 81-72.

The Thunderbirds (13-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE). The Chieftains come into the non-league challenge with a 6-13 record. In their last challenge, Bellevue East was knocked off by Omaha Central (Omaha, NE), 75-40, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Silver Hawks encounter the Omaha North Vikings (Omaha, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 13. Lincoln Southwest will attempt to improve on its 12-8 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 7-13 record after their 82-69 league loss to Millard North (Omaha, NE).
