In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Minnewaska Area Lakers basketball team scored a good 85-67 win over the Benson .
The Lakers (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against West Central Area (Barrett, MN). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 13-8 record. In their last contest, West Central Area defeated Barnesville (Barnesville, MN), 72-60, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the battle the Ashby Arrows (Ashby, MN) in a A Section 6 contest, on Friday, February 14. Benson will attempt to better on its 13-9 season record. The Arrows come into the contest with a 9-12 record after their 85-51 non-league loss to Wheaton (Wheaton, MN).
