The East Newton Patriots basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Cassville Wildcats to 37 in the Patriots league triumph on Tuesday.

The Patriots now have a 11-6 record. They play next when they host Nevada for a Big 8 game on Friday, February 14. East Newton will confront a Tigers team coming off a 73-62 non-league win over Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 16-5.

With the loss, Cassville falls to 4-15 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, MO) to confront the Mountaineers in a Big 8 game on Friday, February 14. The Mountaineers go into the game with a record of 11-9. Mt. Vernon lost 80-76 in their recent league game against Lamar (Lamar, MO)
