Nebraska High School Basketball - Pierce overwhelms Clarkson/Leigh

The Pierce Bluejays basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Clarkson/Leigh Patriots to 30 in the Bluejays non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bluejays now have a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Guardian Angels Central Catholic for a non-league game on Thursday, February 13. Pierce will confront a Bluejays team coming off a 48-36 non-league loss to Pender (Pender, NE). The Bluejays record now stands at 5-16.

With the loss, Clarkson/Leigh falls to 2-18 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Stanton (Stanton, NE) to confront the Mustangs in a C2 District 6 game on Thursday, February 13. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 3-17. Stanton won 62-30 in their recent non-league game against Winside (Winside, NE)
