The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI) and the visiting North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI), saw Cumberland's basketball team top North Kingstown by a tally of 71-63.

The Clippers now possess a 5-16 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Hendricken for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 12. Cumberland will play a Hawks team coming off a 65-45 league win over Smithfield (Esmond, RI). The Hawks record now stands at 13-6.

With the loss, North Kingstown falls to 8-13 on the campaign. The Skippers host Westerly (Westerly, RI) to play the Bulldogs in a Division I game on Friday, February 14. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 10-12. Westerly lost 81-56 in their recent league game against La Salle Academy (Providence, RI)
