The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Douglas Patriots (Box Elder, SD) and the host Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD), observed Douglas's basketball team overwhelm Hot Springs by a score of 68-28.
The Patriots (5-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Hill City (Hill City, SD). The Rangers come into the non-league challenge with a 12-4 record. In their last challenge, Hill City trounced Hot Springs (Hot Springs, SD), 55-25, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Bison encounter the Sturgis Brown Scoopers (Sturgis, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 14. Hot Springs will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Scoopers come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 64-60 league loss to Spearfish (Spearfish, SD).
