In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Eureka Tornadoes basketball team scored a close 50-43 triumph over the Douglass Bulldogs.

The Tornadoes (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Bluestem (Leon, KS). The Lions go into the Tri-Valley contest with a 1-15 record.

In their next game, the Bulldogs meet the Medicine Lodge Indians (Medicine Lodge, KS) in a Central Plains battle, on Friday, February 14. Douglass will attempt to advance on its 5-11 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 8-6 record after their 53-49 league loss to Trinity Academy (Wichita, KS).
