In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Fairmont Cardinals basketball team scored a close 52-50 win over the Pipestone Arrows.
The Cardinals (14-8) will now prepare for their contest against Luverne (Luverne, MN). The Cardinals come into the AA Section 3 contest with a 13-9 record.
In their next game, the Arrows battle the Blue Earth Buccaneers (Blue Earth, MN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 13. Pipestone will attempt to better on its 9-13 season record. The Buccaneers come into the contest with a 9-14 record after their 95-82 non-league loss to Redwood Valley (Redwood Falls, MN).
