The Montpelier Locomotives basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Fairview Apaches to 48 in the Locomotives non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Locomotives now have a 15-4 record. They play next when they travel to Gorham Fayette for a Buckeye Border game on Friday, February 14. Montpelier will confront a Eagles team coming off a 51-34 league loss to Edon (Edon, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 2-18.

With the loss, Fairview falls to 8-13 on the campaign. The Apaches host Wayne Trace (Haviland, OH) to confront the Raiders in a Green Meadows game on Friday, February 14. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 11-9. Wayne Trace lost 68-67 in their recent non-league game against Jefferson (Delphos, OH)
