The Gilford Golden Eagles (Gilford, NH) basketball were winner over the host Newfound Regional Bears (Bristol, NH), 64-56 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Golden Eagles now possess a 14-4 record. They play next when they host Kearsarge for a Division III bout on Friday, February 14. Gilford will play a Cougars team coming off a 67-46 non-league win over Derryfield (Manchester, NH). The Cougars record now stands at 15-2.
With the loss, Newfound Regional falls to 11-7 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Inter-Lakes (Meredith, NH) to play the Lakers in a Division III bout on Wednesday, February 12. The Lakers go into the bout with a record of 4-12. Inter-Lakes lost 65-61 in their recent league bout against White Mountains (Whitefield, NH)
