The West Delaware Hawks basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting Grinnell Tigers to 62 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hawks now possess a 5-16 record. They play next when they travel to Maquoketa for a non-league game on Monday, February 17.

With the loss, Grinnell falls to 11-10 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IA) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Friday, February 14. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 15-5. Mt. Vernon lost 80-51 in their recent non-league game against Clear Creek-Amana (Tiffin, IA)
