In Tuesday's league test, the John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV) basketball squad defeated the visiting Indian Creek Redskins (Wintersville, OH), by a score of 58-45.
Next, the Monarchs clash with the Fort Frye Cadets (Beverly, OH) in a Twin State test, on Thursday, February 13. John Marshall will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record.
The Redskins (8-13) will now prepare for their test against Wellsville (Wellsville, OH). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 9-11 record. In their last test, Wellsville overcame Barnesville (Barnesville, OH), 64-47, in a non-league test.
