In Tuesday's non-league test, the Ishpeming Hematites (Ishpeming, MI) basketball squad got by the visiting Menominee Maroons (Menominee, MI), by a score of 75-70.
Next, the Hematites encounter the Manistique Emeralds (Manistique, MI) in a Mid-Peninsula test, on Friday, February 14. Ishpeming will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record.
The Maroons (10-10) will now prepare for their test against Gladstone (Gladstone, MI). The Braves come into the Great Northern U.P. test with a 6-13 record. In their last test, Gladstone held off Negaunee (Negaunee, MI), 60-55, in a non-league test.
