The Bluejays (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Perry-Lecompton (Perry, KS). The Kaws come into the Big East challenge with a 8-8 record. In their last challenge, Perry-Lecompton was routed by Osage City (Osage City, KS), 55-39, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Holton Wildcats (Holton, KS) in a Big East challenge, on Friday, February 14. Jefferson West will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 60-37 league loss to Hiawatha (Hiawatha, KS).
