The Vandalia Vandals basketball team scored 91 points and limited the visiting Litchfield Purple Panthers to 68 in the Vandals league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vandals now have a 12-15 record. They play next when they travel to Greenville for a South Central game on Friday, February 14. Vandalia will confront a Comets team coming off a 52-45 league win over Pana (Pana, IL). The Comets record now stands at 17-10.

With the loss, Litchfield falls to 12-16 on the campaign. The Purple panthers host Staunton (Staunton, IL) to confront the Bulldogs in a South Central game on Friday, February 14. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 23-4. Staunton won 48-30 in their recent league game against Southwestern (Piasa, IL)
