In Tuesday's non-league test, the Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) basketball squad trounced the visiting Mayfield Cardinals (Mayfield, KY), by a score of 68-43.
Next, the Marshals encounter the Mt. Vernon Rams (Mt. Vernon, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 15. Marshall County will attempt to improve on its 25-1 season record.
The Cardinals (17-8) will now prepare for their test against Carlisle County (Bardwell, KY). The Comets come into the non-league test with a 11-13 record. In their last test, Carlisle County was routed by Ballard Memorial (Barlow, KY), 61-49, in a non-league test.
