The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the South Bend Washington Panthers (South Bend, IN) and the visiting Mishawaka Cavemen (Mishawaka, IN), observed South Bend Washington's basketball team overwhelm Mishawaka by a score of 80-59.
The Panthers (14-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Penn (Mishawaka, IN). The Kingsmen come into the Northern Indiana challenge with a 12-7 record. In their last challenge, Penn trounced Mishawaka Marian (Mishawaka, IN), 44-39, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cavemen encounter the NorthWood Panthers (Nappanee, IN) in a Northern Lakes challenge, on Friday, February 14. Mishawaka will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 16-3 record after their 72-42 non-league win over West Noble (Ligonier, IN).
