Mississippi High School Basketball - Newton County fells Ripley

The Newton County Cougars basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Ripley Tigers to 52 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now possess a 13-8 record. They play next when they travel to New Albany for a non-league game on Saturday, February 15. Newton County will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 59-47 non-league win over Houston (Houston, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 21-7.
With the loss, Ripley falls to 19-11 on the campaign.
