The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Newton North Tigers (Newtonville, MA) and the host Weymouth Wildcats (South Weymouth, MA), observed Newton North's basketball team overwhelm Weymouth by a score of 70-43.
The Tigers (17-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Boston College High (Boston, MA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 7-10 record. In their last challenge, Boston College High trounced St. John's Prep (Danvers, MA), 82-62, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Salem Witches (Salem, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 13. Weymouth will attempt to improve on its 0-15 season record.
