The St. Thomas More Cougars (Lafayette, LA) basketball were winner over the host North Vermilion Patriots (Maurice, LA), 53-39 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 27-4 record. They play next when they host David Thibodaux for a 4A District 4 bout on Friday, February 14. St. Thomas More will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 58-52 league loss to Northside (Lafayette, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 22-6.
With the loss, North Vermilion falls to 15-12 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Rayne (Rayne, LA) to play the Wolves in a 4A District 4 bout on Friday, February 14. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 3-22. Rayne lost 60-46 in their recent league bout against Comeaux (Lafayette, LA)
