In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Plainview Hornets basketball team scored a good 79-64 triumph over the Pineville Rebels.
The Hornets (26-5) will now prepare for their contest against St. Edmund (Eunice, LA). The Fighting Blue Jays go into the non-league contest with a 14-17 record.
In their next game, the Rebels battle the Neville Tigers (Monroe, LA) in a 5A District 2 contest, on Friday, February 14. Pineville will attempt to better on its 6-21 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 18-9 record after their 72-67 league win over West Monroe (West Monroe, LA).
