West Virginia High School Basketball - Union Local knocked off by Wheeling Central Catholic

In Tuesday's non-league test, the Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights (Wheeling, WV) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Union Local Jets (Belmont, OH), by a score of 73-59.

Next, the Maroon Knights encounter the Tyler Knights (Sistersville, WV) in a non-league test, on Monday, February 17. Wheeling Central Catholic will attempt to improve on its 14-2 season record.

The Jets (15-6) will now prepare for their test against Martins Ferry (Martins Ferry, OH). The Purple Riders come into the non-league test with a 10-10 record. In their last test, Martins Ferry went down by Monroe Central (Woodsfield, OH), 86-54, in a league test.
