Wellington Crusaders (Wellington, KS) fans went home pleased Tuesday as they observed their basketball team overwhelm the visiting Augusta Orioles (Augusta, KS), 64-31 in a non-league challenge.

The Crusaders (13-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Collegiate (Wichita, KS). The Spartans come into the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail IV challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, Collegiate was routed by Buhler (Buhler, KS), 51-44, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Orioles encounter the Mulvane Wildcats (Mulvane, KS) in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail III challenge, on Friday, February 14. Augusta will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 54-48 non-league loss to Andale (Andale, KS).
