Minnesota High School Basketball - Belle Plaine holds off St. Peter

The Belle Plaine Tigers basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host St. Peter Saints to 71 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now possess a 9-15 record. They play next when they host Worthington for a non-league game on Friday, February 14. Belle Plaine will confront a Trojans team coming off a 66-46 non-league loss to Luverne (Luverne, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 1-23.
With the loss, St. Peter falls to 14-10 on the campaign. The Saints host Goodhue (Goodhue, MN) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, February 15. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 20-4. Goodhue won 62-39 in their recent non-league game against Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN)
