Texas High School Basketball - Marathon overwhelms Big Bend

The Marathon Mustangs basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting Big Bend Roadrunners to 34 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Blackwell for a non-league game on Thursday, February 13. Marathon will confront a Hornets team coming off a 81-31 non-league win over Rochelle (Rochelle, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 22-9.

With the loss, Big Bend falls to 7-8 on the campaign.
