South Dakota High School Basketball - Elk Point-Jefferson can't hold off Crofton

Crofton Warriors (Crofton, NE) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies (Elk Point, SD), 52-47 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Crofton advances its record to 19-3 on the year. The Warriors host Norfolk Catholic (Norfolk, NE) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Thursday, February 13. The Knights enter the match with a record of 6-14. Norfolk Catholic won 44-30 in their recent non-league match against Ponca (Ponca, NE)

The Huskies now own a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Beresford for a A Region 4 match on Friday, February 14. Elk Point-Jefferson will face a Watchdogs squad coming off a 51-26 non-league win over Garretson (Garretson, SD). The Watchdogs record now stands at 10-8.
