The McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) basketball were winner over the host Erwin Warriors (Asheville, NC), 58-41 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Titans now possess a 23-0 record. They play next when they host A.C. Reynolds for a 3A/4A Mountain bout on Thursday, February 13. McDowell will play a Rockets team coming off a 57-30 league win over T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC). The Rockets record now stands at 14-8.
With the loss, Erwin falls to 17-6 on the campaign. The Warriors host North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC) to play the Black Hawks in a 3A/4A Mountain bout on Thursday, February 13. The Black Hawks go into the bout with a record of 16-7. North Buncombe won 58-53 in their recent league bout against Asheville (Asheville, NC)
