In Tuesday's league test, the GEO Next Generation Tigers (Baton Rouge, LA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Port Allen Pelicans (Port Allen, LA), by a score of 46-35.
Next, the Tigers encounter the Varnado Wildcats (Angie, LA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, February 13. GEO Next Generation will attempt to improve on its 19-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 9-9 record after their 52-27 non-league loss to McGehee (New Orleans, LA).
The Pelicans (5-17) will now prepare for their test against Glen Oaks (Baton Rouge, LA). The Panthers come into the 3A District 6 test with a 14-14 record.
