The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Izard County Cougars (Brockwell, AR) and the visiting Norfork Panthers (Norfork, AR), observed Izard County's basketball team overwhelm Norfork by a score of 72-43.
The Cougars (21-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Rivercrest (Wilson, AR). The Colts come into the non-league challenge with a 17-9 record. In their last challenge, Rivercrest trounced Walnut Ridge (Walnut Ridge, AR), 54-45, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Rector Cougars (Rector, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 14. Norfork will attempt to improve on its 13-15 season record.
