The LaGrange Gators basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Washington-Marion Charging Indians to 44 in the Gators league triumph on Tuesday.

The Gators now have a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Leesville for a 4A District 3 contest on Friday, February 14. LaGrange will battle a Wampus Cats team coming off a 72-67 league loss to Iowa (Iowa, LA). The Wampus Cats record now stands at 17-10.

In their next game, the Charging Indians battle the St. Louis Catholic Saints (Lake Charles, LA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, February 12. Washington-Marion will attempt to better on its 6-19 season record. The Saints come into the contest with a 7-17 record after their 40-33 league loss to Jennings (Jennings, LA).
