Texas High School Basketball - LaPoynor bests Lovelady

The LaPoynor Flyers basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Lovelady Lions to 47 in the Flyers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Flyers now possess a 23-11 record. They play next when they travel to Marlin for a non-league game on Thursday, February 13. LaPoynor will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 40-32 non-league win over Mildred (Corsicana, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 17-7.

With the loss, Lovelady falls to 27-6 on the campaign.
