The Southside Sharks basketball squad (Youngsville, LA), was crushed 55-27 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Sulphur Golden Tors (Sulphur, LA)
With the victory, Sulphur advances its record to 24-3 on the year. The Golden Tors travel to Carencro (Lafayette, LA) to meet the Bears in a 5A District 3 battle on Friday, February 14. The Bears enter the battle with a record of 5-15.
The Sharks now own a 10-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Acadiana for a 5A District 3 battle on Friday, February 14. Southside will meet a Rams squad coming off a 75-9 league loss to Lafayette (Lafayette, LA). The Rams record now stands at 5-22.
