In Tuesday's league test, the Spearfish Spartans (Spearfish, SD) basketball squad trounced the host Sturgis Brown Scoopers (Sturgis, SD), by a final score of 48-19.
Next, the Spartans clash with the Custer Wildcats (Custer, SD) in a non-league test, on Thursday, February 13. Spearfish will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 6-10 record after their 50-43 league win over Belle Fourche (Belle Fourche, SD).
The Scoopers (6-11) will now prepare for their test against Hot Springs (Hot Springs, SD). The Bison come into the non-league test with a 2-13 record.
