In Tuesday's non-league test, the Chippewa Valley Big Reds (Clinton Township, MI) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Utica Chieftains (Utica, MI), by a score of 44-35.

Next, the Big Reds encounter the Avondale Yellowjackets (Auburn Hills, MI) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, February 19. Chippewa Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.

The Chieftains (7-10) will now prepare for their test against Cousino (Warren, MI). The Patriots come into the test with a 0-2 record.
