Cairo Syrupmakers (Cairo, GA) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Sumter County Panthers (Americus, GA), 10-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Cairo advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Syrupmakers host Thomasville (Thomasville, GA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Friday, February 14. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 1-0. Thomasville won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Valdosta (Valdosta, GA)

The Panthers now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Westover for a non-league test on Thursday, February 13. Sumter County will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Worth County (Sylvester, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 0-1.
