Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA) and the host Luella Lions (Luella, GA), saw Mount Vernon's soccer squad triumph over Luella by a count of 10-0.
The Mustangs (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Whitefield Academy (Mableton, GA). The WolfPack enter the 1A D-I Region 5 battle with a 0-0 record.
Next up, the Lions battle the Stockbridge Tigers (Stockbridge, GA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, February 13. Luella will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
