The Mustangs now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Chaparral for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 13. Roosevelt will clash with a Pumas squad coming off a 15-11 non-league loss to Linfield Christian (Temecula, CA). The Pumas record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Esperanza falls to 0-1 on the year. The Aztecs travel to Centennial (Corona, CA) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 14. The Huskies go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Centennial won 12-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Millikan (Long Beach, CA)
