Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Veterans Warhawks (Kathleen, GA) and the host Harris County Tigers (Hamilton, GA), saw Veterans's soccer squad hold off Harris County by a count of 2-1.
The Warhawks (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Perry (Perry, GA). The Panthers enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Perry tipped Houston County (Warner Robins, GA), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Tigers battle the Lee County Trojans (Leesburg, GA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, February 14. Harris County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Crisp County (Cordele, GA).
