In Tuesday's non-league test, the Austin Maroons (Austin, TX) softball squad got by the visiting Vista Ridge Rangers (Cedar Park, TX), by a tally of 15-14.
Next, the Maroons clash with the Canyon Lake (Fischer, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, February 14. Austin will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record.
The Rangers (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Thrall (Thrall, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Thrall held off Giddings (Giddings, TX), 5-1, in a non-league test.
