Mundelein Mustangs (Mundelein, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL), 57-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mundelein upgrades its record to 12-15 on the season. The Mustangs host Libertyville (Libertyville, IL) to play the Wildcats in a North Suburban bout on Wednesday, February 16. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 23-7. Libertyville won 51-36 in their recent league bout against Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL)

Next up, the Fighting Saints play the Wheaton North Falcons (Wheaton, IL) in a DuKane bout, on Wednesday, February 16. St. Charles East will attempt to upgrade on its 3-24 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 7-21 record after their 58-49 non-league win over Oswego (Oswego, IL).
