Chino Hills Huskies (Chino Hills, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Huskies now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Royal for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 19.
With the loss, St. Paul falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Swordsmen travel to El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA) to battle the Dons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 15. The Dons enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
