Iowa High School Basketball - Clarke can't hold off Ballard

The Ballard Bombers basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Clarke Indians to 58 in the Bombers non-league victory on Monday.
The Bombers now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dallas Center-Grimes for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 15. Ballard will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 52-47 non-league win over North Polk (Alleman, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 17-3.
The Indians (17-5) will now prepare for their contest against Chariton (Chariton, IA). The Chargers come into the South Central contest with a 11-11 record. In their last contest, Chariton was nudged by Knoxville (Knoxville, IA), 71-60, in a league contest.
