The Beaverton Beavers basketball team (Beaverton, MI), was nudged 54-49 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Valley Lutheran Chargers (Saginaw, MI)

The Chargers now possess a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Standish-Sterling for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 13. Valley Lutheran will confront a Panthers team coming off a 62-61 non-league loss to Millington (Millington, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 11-7.

The Beavers (7-11) will now prepare for their battle against Shepherd (Shepherd, MI). The Bluejays come into the Jack Pine battle with a 11-8 record. In their last battle, Shepherd edged Chippewa Hills (Remus, MI), 56-39, in a non-league battle.
