The Lawton Blue Devils (Lawton, MI) basketball nipped the host Cassopolis Rangers (Cassopolis, MI), 43-38 in Monday's non-league test.
The Blue Devils (8-9) will now prepare for their test against Galesburg-Augusta (Galesburg, MI). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Galesburg-Augusta got by Black River (Holland, MI), 74-46, in a league test.
The Rangers now own a 11-7 record. They play next when they host Marcellus for a Southwest 10 test on Tuesday, February 13. Cassopolis will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 46-38 league win over Bloomingdale (Bloomingdale, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-8.
